Lord Kulveer Ranger has been instrumental in several high- impact transformational projects through his twenty-five-year career. He played a crucial role in the team that implemented the London Oyster card, revolutionising urban transportation. During his tenure working alongside Boris Johnson, then Mayor of London, Lord Ranger was responsible for transport policy, environmental policy and established the Digital Office for London. He led initiatives including supporting the development of Tech City and the London Datastore and the initial plans for the introduction of electric vehicles. He has been a member or various boards including techUK and currently is a NED and advises various technology businesses. He is a life Peer sitting in the House of Lords and currently serves as Co‑Chair of the Digital Markets & Digital Money All‑Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), Vice-Chair of the AI APPG and is a member of the House of Lord’s Science and Technology Select Committee.
