Rebecca Simmonds is the Managing Executive at the Walrus Foundation. She brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, blockchain infrastructure, and decentralized technologies and nearly seven years of professional experience at Vega Protocol, where she was part of the founding team, leading initiatives focused on protocol development and fostering a global developer ecosystem.Before joining Vega Protocol, Rebecca served as Business Director at Zone, a digital transformation agency, where she played a key role in scaling the company’s operations until its acquisition. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director at Head London, where she oversaw strategic growth initiatives for digital product development, guiding the company until its acquisition in 2016.Rebecca has extensive leadership experience in digital strategy and technology, having held senior roles at Principia, Blue Interactive Marketing, and Fitch London. She is a long-standing advocate for technology-driven innovation and has contributed to multiple advisory boards in the digital sector.Rebecca is a Board Member at the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) and formerly served as a Board of Trustees Member at Scope. She holds an MA in History from the University of Edinburgh.
