Vikas Pandey

Vikas Pandey is a Head of Protocol at Kite AI, where he leads blockchain engineering, tech partnerships and ecosystem integrations, focusing on expanding the adoption of decentralized AI technologies. He works on advancing Proof of Attributable Intelligence (PoAI), a consensus mechanism that ensures attribution, provenance, and fair rewards for contributors in AI development, while driving collaborations across the AI and blockchain ecosystems. With 16+ years of experience building, Vikas brings deep technical expertise to Kite AI.Before joining Kite AI, Vikas spent two years at the NEAR Foundation, contributing to Web3 infrastructure, partner engineering, protocol improvements, and DeFi tools. He has been an active contributor to the Linux Foundation and Hyperledger Fabric, built multiple dApps on Ethereum, Polygon, and Cosmos, and co-founded an NFT marketplace on Cosmos. He also co-founded EME, a decentralized machine learning and data fusion platform for circular economy solutions, and co-authored a book on digitizing maritime systems using decentralized technologies. Beyond work, Vikas contributes to open-source projects, teaches mathematics and physics to high school students, and enjoys traveling and sports.
