Xen Baynham-Herd is the Head of Global Builders at Base, where he focuses on growing, supporting, and educating a network of builders around the world. This network includes founders, developers, creators and community builders who come together to create and grow onchain products and applications. Previously, Xen was the co-founder and CEO of Roam, the onchain browser and search engine that was acquired by Coinbase in 2025. Prior to that, Xen served as the Chief Operating Officer of The Network State, the Chief Operating Officer and VP Product at Blockchain.com, and a Director at UBS. He is based in London and holds a Masters Degree in Finance from Durham Business School.
